The BFT negotiating team regrets to inform the membership that regular negotiations and mediation have not produced a full contract agreement. Only a few, very minor language changes were agreed to.

Therefore, insurance, salary, and duration of the next BFT contract will be decided using binding arbitration.

A written statement with more details will be sent to each member shortly, summarizing the events that occurred during negotiations and detailing the language that was proposed by both sides. Additionally, a general membership meeting will be held to discuss the matter and provide greater elaboration.
