Teachers are encouraged to attend two Board of Finance workshops that will allow the public to weigh in on the proposed Board of Education budget, one that includes the addition of all day kindergarten.

The first is Thursday, March 20 at 6:00 PM in the main chamber of city hall.

The second is Monday, March 31 at 6:00 PM in the main chamber of city hall, and will be a joint meeting between the BoF and City Council.

While the final budget will be approved in early May, it is at these workshops that the budget will be adjusted based on public input into various programs that comprise the total BoE budget.
