Senate Bill 1097, the bill that would alter the reading test required of some teachers, passed unanimously through the House late last night. As the bill had previously passed through the Senate, the bill now awaits only the signature of the Governor to become law.

Thanks to all the teachers who called and wrote to legislators to help make this bill a reality.
