The flood that occurred as a result of the hurricane caused the Teacher Meeting Day on August 29 to be cancelled.  In order to fulfill our contractual obligations of 185 scheduled work days, the BFT Executive Council (comprised of stewards and officers) examined several options, and in the end agreed to the BOE request to recapture 300 of the lost 360 minutes by adding the following 100 minute Wednesday meetings:

Wednesday, November 30, 2011.

Wednesday, May 30, 2012.

Wednesday, June 13, 2012.

The meetings will be utilized for grade level and subject team meetings.
